Uniform

The uniform lists are available below.  Boys must wear a school kippah and tzitzit.  These can be purchased from the school office along with ties, hair scrunchies, KS1 school and P.E. bags and P.E. kit.

In our efforts to keep lost property to a minimum, all clothing should be clearly marked with the pupil’s name.  Whilst taking all reasonable care to see that pupils’ possessions are safeguarded, King David Primary cannot be held responsible for clothing and personal items which are lost.

From September 2024 pupils will no longer be required to wear ties and the formal school shirts will be replaced by pale blue polo shirts. Polo shirts do not have to be tucked in.
We still require your children to wear grey trousers, skirts or pinafore dresses. In the Summer Term girls can still wear pale blue and white gingham Summer dresses and the boys can wear grey shorts.

The major supermarkets (Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys) as well as Marks and Spencer all stock pale blue polo shirts, with either long or short sleeves, at a very reasonable price.
The Summer Term, when we reopen after the Pesach break, will be a transition period, so if you want to purchase pale blue polo shirts straight away, your children can start wearing them from Thursday 2nd May.
Boys should still wear a school uniform kippah and tzitzit, long hair should be tied back, with hair bobbles or clips that are in school uniform colours and not over-sized.

Jewellery

Jewellery should not be worn to school due to the potential health and safety risks that this presents. Parents should be aware that King David Primary School will take no responsibility for any injuries sustained to their child as a result of not following this rule.
